Kobe Suma Sea World in Kobe City, Hyogo Prefecture, will host the "Night Aqua Live" event from March 21 (Saturday) to April 5 (Sunday), 2026. This limited-time program offers visitors a unique opportunity to experience the aquarium after dark.

Night Aqua Live transforms the Aqua Live building with atmospheric lighting and allows guests to observe nocturnal behaviors of marine creatures. Starting at 5:00 PM each day during the event period, the facility's background music and lighting will shift to create a quiet and enchanting nighttime atmosphere. Marine life exhibits different behaviors after dark—fish that actively swim during the day may hide among rocks, while nocturnal creatures become more active. Audio guide pamphlets will be distributed to help visitors learn about these nighttime marine behaviors.
Additionally, Club SUMASEA members will have exclusive early access to the program on March 18 (Wednesday) and March 20 (Friday, Holiday) with the "Adults-Only Night Aqua Live" event. This members-only preview is available for high school students and above who are subscribed to the Club SUMASEA email newsletter. Participants can enjoy 90 minutes of quiet exploration in the facility after regular closing hours. Early access attendees will receive an audio guide pamphlet and a complimentary sample-size non-alcoholic cocktail called "Coral Shine Green," which glows in specific areas of the aquarium. Enjoy a relaxing spring evening at Kobe Suma Sea World.
