Kyoto Takashimaya Hosts "Amour du Chocolat 2026" - A Chocolate Wonderland Starting January 17

Kyoto Takashimaya S.C. will host "Takashimaya Amour du Chocolat 2026" from Saturday, January 17 through Saturday, February 14, 2026. The special event will take place on the 7th floor of the department store, offering over 100 chocolate brands with unique flavors available only during this season.

Event Details

  • Venue: Kyoto Takashimaya S.C. (Department Store) 7th Floor Special Event Space
  • Period: Saturday, January 17 to Saturday, February 14, 2026
  • Hours: 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM

This year's event features an extensive lineup of premium chocolates from around the world, alongside a growing focus on Japanese artisan chocolates crafted with carefully selected ingredients. Special attention is given to Kyoto-inspired chocolates that showcase local flavors and traditions. Additionally, in response to cacao bean supply challenges, the event introduces non-cacao alternatives from four brands - innovative sweets that deliver the rich taste experience of chocolate without using cacao beans.

The venue is designed like a marche, creating delightful discoveries at every turn for both gift-givers and recipients.
