A pop-up store for Map Design GALLERY, a brand of stationery and goods designed with maps as the motif, is opening at the Abeno Harukas Kintetsu Main Store for a limited time from October 14 (Wednesday) to October 27 (Tuesday), 2026. The brand is run by Zenrin.
The store carries map-patterned items for all 47 prefectures, including Osaka Prefecture, along with pop-up exclusives such as a canvas tote bag with a "Tennoji" charm and acrylic keychains designed around Kansai International Airport and Itami Airport. This is the brand's first pop-up store in Osaka City.
About Map Design GALLERY
Under the concept "connections that start with maps," Map Design GALLERY treats maps, a familiar and useful tool, as patterns and designs for stationery and goods. Its products draw on detailed map data from across Japan and on the brand's collection of Western-made antique maps of Japan.
What to Expect at the Abeno Harukas Kintetsu Main Store Pop-Up
The store stocks a wide range of the brand's popular goods, including items that use map patterns to depict Osaka Prefecture's famous products and landmarks, as well as local map-pattern items from all 47 prefectures.

Featured Items (Selection)
Blank Map Tote Bag With Pop-Up Exclusive Charm: ¥3,850 (Tax Included)
This popular canvas tote bag is based on a blank map of the Japanese archipelago with prefectural borders. It is decorated with Shinkansen lines and expressway networks, with airplane motifs placed at airport locations. A new light pink colorway is introduced as an event-exclusive color, and the bag is sold with a charm available only at the Abeno Harukas Kintetsu Main Store pop-up.

A4 Clear File, Kansai International Airport and Itami Airport: ¥440 Each (Tax Included)
This clear file combines the airplane symbol seen on airport direction signs with a map of the area around the airport. The composition looks down on a cityscape from an airplane, and the colors capture the ever-changing sky, expressing the appeal of airports and travel.

Itami Airport: a gradient inspired by magic hour
Double Acrylic Keychain, Kansai International Airport and Itami Airport: ¥1,430 (Tax Included)
This double acrylic keychain pairs a plate printed with a detailed map of the area around the airport with an airplane charm based on the direction-sign symbol. Stacking the plates creates a design reminiscent of a plane taking off from a runway.

The backing cards have a boarding-pass-style design scattered with airport motifs such as three-letter codes and runways (Kansai International Airport and Itami Airport, from left).

Inside the cut-out frame of the plate, the airplane-shaped charm sways gently (Kansai International Airport and Itami Airport, from left).
