Marion Crepes, the beloved crepe shop celebrating its 50th year in business, has joined forces with Hello Kitty for the Marion Crepes × Hello Kitty Plush Charm BOOK. The collaboration releases on April 30, 2026, and features three designs of Hello Kitty plush charms — each one wrapped in a miniature crepe modeled after some of Marion Crepes' most popular flavors.
The charms faithfully reproduce Marion Crepes' signature red gingham check wrapping paper, and each Hello Kitty even has a tiny dollop of cream on her face. Designed to clip onto a bag, they're sure to turn heads. They're also a perfect fit for the growing "nuikatsu" (plushie collecting and carrying) trend.
Strawberry Special ver.
A sweet pairing of strawberry ice cream and fresh strawberries — Hello Kitty's ribbon even takes on a strawberry motif.
Strawberry Choco Chocolat ver.
The charm captures a fan-favorite crepe that combines tangy strawberries with rich chocolate ice cream — complete with a faithfully recreated chocolate sauce drizzle.
Choco Mint Cookie ver.
A refreshing take on a classic: chocolate mint ice cream and whipped cream, topped with a Hello Kitty wearing a cocoa cookie ribbon.
The Book: 50 Years of Marion Crepes
Alongside the charms, the accompanying book looks back at Marion Crepes' half-century of history — including how the founder fell in love with crepes in France, brought the recipe back to Japan, and launched the first shop on Shibuya's Koen-dori in 1976. The publication also covers the evolution of the brand's uniforms over the decades.
