Maruai Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Ichikawamisato, Yamanashi Prefecture; President: Michiya Muramatsu), a paper products company operating under the motto "Wrapping Hearts and Lives," will release the second collection in its stationery and goods series "SUU" on Monday, October 19, 2026.
The SUU series is built around the theme "Give Your Heart a Little Rest Through Stationery," bringing together Maruai's collaborations with a range of artists. For this second collection, the company has teamed up with illustrator とつかみさこ to create six items: a notebook, a letter set, a mini letter, a memo pad, sticky notes, and stickers.
With the spread of social media, more people now have the chance to discover distinctive creators, their work, and new worldviews as part of daily life. Collaborations between artists and companies have become increasingly common, with many brands using original items and designs to enhance their image and value.
Building on this trend, Maruai launched the SUU stationery and goods series to share the fresh expression and worldviews that emerge from encounters with a variety of artists. In April 2026, the brand released its first collection—an assortment of collaboration items—which drew a strong response.
For the second collection, Maruai has partnered with illustrator とつかみさこ to introduce new items, launching on Monday, October 19, 2026.
About the SUU Series
The SUU series brings together stationery and goods created through Maruai's collaborations with various artists. Its concept, "Give Your Heart a Little Rest Through Stationery," aims to bring a small sense of calm through items featuring leisurely animals and beautiful scenery, so that each use leaves the heart feeling refreshed.
For this second collection, Maruai has collaborated with illustrator とつかみさこ to offer six items: a notebook, a letter set, a mini letter, a memo pad, sticky notes, and stickers.
The designs feature two original illustrations by とつかみさこ: "moon bear" and "noon cat." "moon bear" depicts a bear enjoying a leisurely moment reading outdoors or gazing at the sky, while "noon cat" portrays a cat spending a relaxed afternoon at home with tea and sweets. The soft, hand-drawn touch and warm atmosphere of the illustrations are central to the collection's appeal.

Born in Saitama Prefecture. Working under the theme "living each day with ease and cheer," とつかみさこ creates illustrations along with three-dimensional works such as ceramics and rugs. In addition to producing and selling original goods independently, she is active in events including Kamihaku (a paper crafts market), pop-up shops, and solo exhibitions.
