Starting June 1, 2026, MICASADECO & CAFE and MICASADECO THE PARK (operated by Independent Co., Ltd.) will be adding new seasonal pancakes perfect for the start of summer.
The lineup includes two new creations: the "Fresh Mango and Pineapple Coconut Fluffy Pancake," which makes generous use of tropical fruit, and the "Peach and Lemon Refreshing Yogurt Cream Pancake," offering a balance of tartness and sweetness. Joining them are two limited-edition drinks: the "Chunky Pineapple Tea Soda" and the "Refreshing Lavender-Scented Matcha Latte."
Note: The Kyoto location will begin serving these items from June 8 (Monday).
Fresh Mango and Pineapple Coconut Fluffy Pancake — ¥2,150 (tax included)
MICASADECO's signature fluffy pancake is generously topped with fresh mango and pineapple. Toasted coconut is added for a pleasant crunchy texture. Inside, a special jam made with mango and yellow peach is sandwiched between the layers, and a house-made mango ice cream is placed on top for a vibrant presentation. Mango sauce and coconut custard cream are served on the side, allowing guests to enjoy shifting flavor combinations throughout the dish.
Peach and Lemon Refreshing Yogurt Cream Pancake — ¥1,850 (tax included)
A chewy pancake layered with generous swirls of tangy yogurt cream and topped with fresh peach slices. Between the layers, a house-made lemon jam and a rich custard with crumble add depth and textural contrast. Lemon custard cream and mango sauce are served on the side for extra complexity. The bright acidity of lemon paired with the gentle sweetness of peach makes this a refreshing option even on hot days.
Chunky Pineapple Tea Soda — ¥750 (tax included)
A summer-only drink made with house-made pineapple compote, finished with aromatic tea and sparkling water. Large pieces of pineapple provide satisfying texture alongside the refreshing flavor. A hint of rosemary adds a clean, lingering finish.
Refreshing Lavender-Scented Matcha Latte — ¥800 (tax included)
A limited-edition drink crafted using premium matcha from Kitagawa Hanbei, a long-established Kyoto tea merchant, combined with lavender syrup. The pairing creates a striking color gradient in the glass. The mellow richness of milk rounds out the refined aroma and flavor.
MICASADECO & CAFE Jingumae — Celebrating 10 Years
MICASADECO & CAFE Jingumae, located in Harajuku, Tokyo, celebrates its 10th anniversary on June 1, 2026. Since opening, the cafe has welcomed guests from Japan and abroad, and its signature fluffy ricotta pancake has remained popular throughout the decade.
MICASADECO's flagship menu item is the "Fluffy Ricotta Pancake." Made with carefully selected ingredients and ricotta cheese, each pancake is prepared to order — with meringue freshly whipped and each piece cooked individually on a thick iron griddle. The result is an airy, melt-in-the-mouth texture that lives up to its appearance. In addition to the signature dish, seasonal limited pancakes are released throughout the year, drawing a loyal fan base.
A 10th anniversary event is planned for June 1 at the Jingumae location.
