MIGNON, a freshly-baked mini croissant specialty shop beloved in Hakata, Kyushu for approximately 30 years, has launched a limited collaboration with the Minions. The shop, recognized as Japan's first mini croissant specialty store since its founding in 1996, operates 13 stores nationwide.
The flagship JR Hakata station location, despite occupying only about 5 tsubo (approximately 165 square feet), continues to attract around 3,000 visitors daily even after 30 years of operation. The store sells approximately 18 million mini croissants annually (averaging about 50,000 per day), with queues forming consistently since opening.
Banana Mini Croissant
The new collaboration product features a crispy exterior and chewy interior, with banana generously incorporated into both the dough and filling. The sweet banana flavor and aroma fill the mouth with each bite.
The croissant captures the favorite food of the mischievous Minions - bananas - packed into freshly-baked croissants.
