The "Misato Sekka (みさとせっか) Skincare Set" — developed through a collaboration between Noy LLC and the residents of Misato Town — launched on March 11, 2026, using white lavender grown exclusively in the town.
The Story Behind the Product
Back in 2005, a single white lavender plant was discovered blooming among the rows of purple lavender in one of Misato Town's lavender fields. Moved by the townspeople's passion for preserving this rare find, a project was born to transform it into a skincare product.
The product was developed by a researcher who herself lives with chemical sensitivity and sensitive skin. Her guiding principle: "Even with limitations, I don't want to give up moisture or radiance." The result is a line that avoids essential oils and synthetic fragrances entirely, instead drawing on the natural power and scent of the plant itself, and uses an ultra-streamlined ingredient list without sacrificing real results.
Developed Together with the Community
On November 21, 2025, Misato Town Hall hosted a community workshop where local residents and the development team gathered to exchange ideas on packaging design, texture, and fragrance.
