The solo exhibition of illustrator Miwano Rag (美和野らぐ), "WHERE MY HEART BEATS" (心憎, Shinzo), runs from Friday, October 9 to Sunday, October 18, 2026 at Akiba CO Gallery (アキバCOギャラリー) in Akihabara. It is co-organized by Miwano Rag and INCOLORE.
Miwano Rag is a former animator who has worked as an illustrator since 2020. Her delicate, transparent style draws on watercolor and oil painting techniques, and she is active in a wide range of fields, including book cover art, character design, and collaborations with companies.
This is her first solo exhibition in about four years, following her first solo show, 水に溺れて夢を見る, held in 2022. It centers on the new series "裏干支 –心臓にIを–" (Ura Eto), born from the feelings she holds inside, and brings together more than 380 works she has created so far, from original pieces to commercial works. It is the largest solo exhibition of her career.
The exhibition is linked to her second art book, 心贈 (published by Ichijinsha), which goes on sale on October 16, 2026 (Fri). Signed copies are available in advance at the venue. The venue also sells a wide lineup of original goods and an official exhibition catalog containing behind-the-scenes stories about the making of the show.
New Original Series "裏干支 –心臓にIを–"
The new original series on display, "裏干支 –心臓にIを–" (Ura Eto), draws inspiration from the long-held idea of "裏干支" (ura eto). It portrays 13 pairs of boys and girls representing the twelve zodiac animals plus a cat, and a total of 26 new works are shown together at the exhibition.

More Than 380 Works on Display
The exhibition is divided into chapters and presents more than 380 works, ranging from existing pieces to the new series "裏干支 –心臓にIを–" and the original character らぐんちょす. Each chapter has its own spatial design, giving visitors a broad look at Miwano Rag's range of expression.
Original Goods
A wide lineup of original goods made with the artwork newly drawn for the exhibition is on sale. Along with everyday items such as clear postcards and BIG acrylic stands, there are many kinds of replica original artworks that can be displayed as interior decor.

Visitors who spend 4,000 yen (tax included) or more at the register in the exhibition venue receive one "WHERE MY HEART BEATS" original shopper bag. Quantities are limited, and the gift ends once they run out.
Special Events During the Exhibition
Two events with Miwano Rag in attendance are held during the exhibition period.
1. Miwano Rag Signing Event
A signing event limited to 100 people is held to mark the exhibition.

2. "WHERE MY HEART BEATS" After-Talk and Exhibition Panel Take-Home Event
On the final day of the exhibition, Miwano Rag hosts an after-talk show. Talk show participants can also choose one panel from a selection of eligible works that were actually displayed at the exhibition and take it home. The admission ticket comes with a clear ticket holder featuring the exhibition's key visual.
