Nippachi Festival 2026 (ニッパチ祭) will be held on Saturday, December 12, 2026 at the Kanda Myojin Cultural Exchange Hall (神田明神文化交流館), located in the grounds of Kanda Myojin (神田明神) in Tokyo. The event brings together a wide range of musical expression.

About Nippachi Festival 2026
Nippachi Festival is an event that aims to create time that enriches life through music and art. It takes inspiration from "hare" (ハレ), the special moments of Japanese festivals that differ from everyday life. The festival deliberately chooses places with their own character and background as stages, and combines those spaces with diverse forms of expression to create special experiences. It aims to be a place where people gather across genres and generations and enjoy encounters with new music and art.
The festival has previously held a free music festival limited to 100 people on Miyakojima in Okinawa for two years in a row. In 2025, it was held at the cultural venue "VS." (ヴイエス) in Umeda, Osaka, with a program that included audiovisual performances and DJs as well as talk sessions and workshops.
This fourth edition is the first to be held in Tokyo. The stage is Kanda Myojin, a shrine with a history of more than 1,300 years that has carried on the faith and festival culture of the people as the guardian shrine of Edo. A total of 18 acts will perform, with a varied program that crosses the boundaries of genre and style, including audiovisual shows, machine live sets, live performances by bands and DJs.
Highlights
Live Performances, DJs and Art Exhibition
On the second floor, the MAIN HALL features performances by a varied lineup of artists, including Daito Manabe (真鍋大度), Maywa Denki (明和電機), Meitei (冥丁) and Minyo Crusaders (民謡クルセイダーズ). With immersive staging, visitors can experience music and visuals with their whole body.

On the first basement floor, "Yuragi", a listening party held irregularly at SAKEBARO AOYAMA since 2024, takes place. In a relaxed space, visitors can enjoy live performances together with sake selected by SAKEBARO. Sitting on tatami mats and listening closely to the music, they get a listening experience that differs from an ordinary live show or club.
HAIOKA, who blends Japanese traditional music and electronic music in an original interpretation and released the latest album "Things I Forgot" on October 1, has also been confirmed to perform.
The glass-walled DJ FLOOR offers a space unique to this venue, where visitors can enjoy music while looking at the worship hall (haiden, 拝殿) of Kanda Myojin.
An art work inspired by the Kanda Festival (神田祭), one of the Three Great Festivals of Edo, will also be exhibited. Based on archival materials of the Kanda Festival in the Showa era held by an individual, it connects the scenery of the festival and the memories of the people of that time to contemporary expression.
Kanda Myojin will mark 1,300 years since its founding in 2030. At the cultural facility in its grounds, the festival expresses the sense of "hare" found in Japanese festivals through contemporary music and art. It is a one-day contemporary "festival" where visitors encounter diverse music and performances in a historic place and enjoy it freely in their own way.
Tickets
Admission tickets are now on sale. Advance tickets are available at a lower price than day-of tickets.
Cheer for Artists Program: Turning Emotion into Support on the Spot

Visitors put the Cheer Tickets they receive into a dedicated box to support artists directly.
Nippachi Festival 2026 runs the "Cheer for Artists Program," a system that lets visitors support the artists' expression on the spot. Through the "Cheer Tickets" included in the admission ticket, audience members can send their support directly to the artists who moved them.
The Cheer Tickets collected are returned in full to the artists as support money, which goes toward their next creative activities and new forms of expression.
The festival proposes a new culture of support, in which the audience is not merely a recipient but a participant who helps nurture culture, and music and visual expression spread as a cycle rather than as consumption.
