A new Moomin product series, "Moominvalley Winter Games," is on its way to shops in Japan. The announcement comes from Rights and Brands Co., Ltd. (Minato-ku, Tokyo), which manages the Moomin license in Japan. The designs show the Moomin characters a little puzzled by their first experiences in the snow but thoroughly enjoying the winter world. The lineup includes items for adding warmth to everyday life, plus gift ideas for the Christmas season or for someone special. To mark the launch, a campaign giving away a limited novelty sticker is also being held.

This year, the Moomin family has decided to skip hibernation and enjoy the winter world instead. Slightly bewildered by their first experiences in the snow, Moomintroll and Mymble even take on ski competitions. Welcome to the Winter Games of Moominvalley!
Based on the world of the Moomin comic Moomin's Winter Follies (Japanese title: やっかいな冬), many of the items use story-rich artwork. The lineup features the residents of Moominvalley taking on winter sports, with each character's expression standing out.
