Nagasakido, an Osaka confectionery with over a century of history, is releasing a new product called the "Castella Biscuit" — a sweet that brings together the soft, moist texture of castella with the fragrant crunch of a biscuit. To celebrate the launch, a "Castella Biscuit Festa" will be held at the Sumiyoshi store on May 1 (Friday) and May 2 (Saturday), 2025.

During the two-day festa, visitors to the Sumiyoshi store can receive a free sample of the new Castella Biscuit. The event also features a gacha lottery that was previously well-received at the 2025 Osaka-Kansai Expo's "Dining Pavilion Utage."
