EISAKU MURATA, a shaper who lives in California, will appear in a talk show about the appeal of the sea and surfboards. He will speak about local surf culture, from stories about surfboards and the surfing scene in California to the scene in Huntington Beach, known for being the same hometown as Kanoa Igarashi (五十嵐カノア).
How are surfboards made? What kind of surf culture has taken root in California? The talk offers a chance to hear local stories that are not often heard and to learn more about the appeal of surfing. It is also likely to interest people who are curious about board making or life overseas, as well as surfing fans.
An autograph session is also planned after the talk show. Those who attend the talk show can join the autograph session as they are, with no additional sign-up or special conditions.

EISAKU MURATA was born in Osaka Prefecture and is now a hand shaper based in Huntington Beach, California.

Pictured is "RIPPLE" (リップル), a surfboard model that reflects the skills and sensibility developed while based in Huntington Beach, California, and shows the shaper's commitment to each board. The rider is Gen Azuchi.
