Style brand narifuri, which combines fashion and bicycle functionality, is releasing limited made-to-order bikes in collaboration with the TV anime THE GHOST IN THE SHELL, based on the landmark cyberpunk sci-fi franchise Ghost in the Shell.
Built around the theme "INTERPRETATION OF THE CITY," the lineup consists of three models: CF01, narifuri's original frame; CF02, designed as a complete bike; and birdy classic, based on the birdy folding bike, which stores compactly and offers excellent riding performance as a sports bike. Each model brings the world of THE GHOST IN THE SHELL into its design and is finished one by one with hand-painted coatings by craftspeople.
The collaboration bikes can be seen at the narifuri POP UP STORE at Daikanyama Tsutaya Books, which opens on October 17 (Saturday), where narifuri's 26AW new items will also be available.
The collaboration bikes grew out of the worldview shared by THE GHOST IN THE SHELL and narifuri.

narifuri × THE GHOST IN THE SHELL CF01 Ver 2 KUSANAGI
This collaboration model is based on narifuri's original frame, the CF01 Ver2. Its color scheme draws on the cover of the first volume of the original manga by Masamune Shirow, evoking Motoko Kusanagi's prosthetic body and thermoptic camouflage. Along with a special pearl paint and color expression that symbolizes the work, the title logo by artist Hajime Sorayama is placed on various parts of the bike. It is a special edition that combines CF01's philosophy of "universality and expandability" with the world of the work.

This collaboration model is based on narifuri's original complete bike, the CF02. Its gray-based color scheme is inspired by the soft protect suits for special missions worn by Section 9, including Motoko Kusanagi. Section 9's equipment and the cityscape are worked into the design, and the title logo by artist Hajime Sorayama and lines of dialogue that symbolize the work are placed on various parts of the bike. It is a special edition that combines CF02's everyday quality with the world of the work.

narifuri × THE GHOST IN THE SHELL birdy classic FUCHIKOMA
This collaboration model is based on the birdy CLASSIC folding bike, which combines high riding performance with portability. Its distinctive red and silver color scheme is inspired by the Fuchikoma, the AI-equipped think tank that supports Section 9. Details reminiscent of the head sensors and cockpit hatch are placed on various parts of the bike, expressing the Fuchikoma's functional beauty. It is a special edition that combines birdy's mobility with the world of the work.
