Nekochef, the charming sweets brand created by Choucrey Corporation, is bringing its delightful cheese and forest fruit confections to Ecute Shinagawa. The limited-time pop-up shop will open on February 16, 2026, just in time for Cat Day celebrations in Japan.
"Purr-fectly Adorable Sweets" from Nekochef
The pop-up shop will feature Nekochef's brand-new seasonal product: Cheddar Cheese & Chocolate Financiers. These delightful treats combine rich cheddar cheese with chocolate chips baked into a moist financier batter. The sweet and salty combination creates an addictive flavor that appeals to adult palates, with the rich cheese flavor spreading with every bite.
The financiers are shaped like adorable cat paws, making them perfect for Cat Day gift-giving. The cheese powder used in the recipe contains 60% cheddar cheese, ensuring an authentic cheese taste.
In addition to the new financiers, the pop-up will also offer Nekochef's most popular item since its November 2025 launch: the Camembert & Lemon Sandwich Cookies. Other favorites include the Cheese Fruit Burger, a whimsical creation featuring forest fruits sandwiched between moist cookie layers.
