Taiwanese Tea and Pastries, Together
SunnyHills, the Taiwan-born sweets brand, has teamed up with Taiwanese tea brand Jing Sheng Yu to begin selling Jing Sheng Yu Taiwanese tea bags from March 11, 2026. The tea bags are available at SunnyHills ginza, SunnyHills marunouchi, and the official online store — marking Jing Sheng Yu's first permanent retail presence in Japan.
Taiwanese tea is grown in Taiwan's warm climate and misty mountain regions, known for its floral and fruity aromas and smooth, mellow flavor. In Taiwan, enjoying sweets and tea together is a natural part of daily life, and the two have always been inseparable. This collaboration brings that tradition to Japan in an easy, approachable format.
Jing Sheng Yu, founded on the concept of "bringing the beauty of tea into everyone's daily life," offers a lineup of tea bags that allow people to enjoy authentic Taiwanese tea flavors and aromas with just a cup and hot water.
The pairing of SunnyHills pastries and Jing Sheng Yu's Taiwanese teas is also available as a White Day gift option.

Alishan Jinxuan Tea (阿里山金萱茶)
Featuring the milky sweetness characteristic of the Jinxuan cultivar, this tea has a gentle and mellow flavor. It pairs with SunnyHills' Apple Cake, made with Kōgyoku apples from Aomori Prefecture, complementing its gentle sweetness and bringing out the fruit's natural aroma.

Lightly Roasted Dong Ding Oolong Tea (軽焙凍頂烏龍茶)
A harmonious balance of light roasted nuttiness and honey-like fragrance. It pairs with SunnyHills' Pineapple Cake, made with Taiwan-native pineapple — the nutty roast complements the cake's sweet-and-tart flavor and leaves a clean, refreshing finish.

A black tea made from Taiwan's native Qingxin Oolong cultivar, with a citrus-like aroma and smooth mouthfeel. It pairs with SunnyHills' Banana Waffle Cookie, made with mountain bananas from Taiwan, harmonizing with the cookie's rich sweetness for a fragrant and flavorful tea time.
