Kawasaki Motors Japan held the "2026 Ninja Team Green Cup Tsukuba Circuit" at Tsukuba Circuit on Sunday, June 21, 2026. It marked the first time Tsukuba Circuit has served as a venue for this series.
Ninja Team Green Cup is a Ninja ZX-25R one-make race aimed at first-timers and beginners. In the 2026 season, Tsukuba Circuit — a flagship circuit in the Kanto region located in Shimotsuma, Ibaraki Prefecture — was added to the lineup in response to strong and longstanding requests from participants. Twenty-five Ninja ZX-25R riders gathered for the inaugural event, each enjoying the race at their own level and pace as they took their first steps into the world of motorsport.
Comprehensive Support for Every Participant
Ninja Team Green Cup offers a "Support Program" designed for first-time racers and those who feel uncertain about taking part. Dedicated support staff assist participants with everything from paperwork and vehicle inspection to race-day procedures.
At this event, the support staff covered a wide range of tasks — from checking the documents required for rider registration and preparing for the technical inspection, to guiding participants through the race itself. Those enrolled in the Support Program were also given priority paddock placement close to the Ninja Team Green Cup secretariat, ensuring any questions or concerns could be addressed immediately and everyone could race with confidence.
