Nitori has added two new sizes to its shelf-compatible cold water pitcher series, which has already sold over 29,000 units. The 1.0L and 1.5L pitchers became available in late April at Nitori stores nationwide and on nitori-net.jp, joining the existing popular 1.2L model.
The new sizes were developed in response to customer feedback requesting more options to match different lifestyles and household sizes. Both models are designed to fit comfortably on standard refrigerator shelves, with dimensions tailored to the height and depth of typical home fridges.
Choosing the Right Size
The 1.0L pitcher suits single-person households or those who like to frequently refresh their drinks. Its compact capacity is ideal for finishing a batch the same day it is made, keeping beverages like barley tea, rooibos tea, or water tasting fresh. It also works well as a secondary pitcher for those who like to keep multiple drinks on hand at once.
The 1.5L pitcher is better suited to households that go through larger amounts of drink throughout the day — practical for mealtimes or refueling after outings. Despite its larger capacity, it is designed to take up minimal space in the fridge, making it a good everyday option.
