The TV anime adaptation of Ojisan wa Kawaii Mono ga Osuki. (by Tsutomu), serialized on the webcomic site "COMICポラリス" operated by FlexComix Co., Ltd. — a group company of BookLive Co., Ltd. — has been confirmed to premiere in October 2026. A promotional video (PV) featuring a portion of the insert song "Pagu tto itchatte~" by Pugutaro & Friends has been released for the first time, along with the announcement of the main voice cast.

The newly released PV depicts 小路三貴, a cool-looking and capable "ikeo-ji" (stylish middle-aged man) who secretly loves cute things, as he navigates daily life with that secret in tow. The PV also introduces a completely original story for "Pugutaro & Friends," featuring Pugutaro and his companions — Boss-kichi, Ann, Carry, and Gurepi — embarking on a grand adventure. 2. Main Cast Announced, Including Kazuyuki Okitsu and Miyu Tomita
Kazuyuki Okitsu will voice the protagonist 小路三貴, and Miyu Tomita will voice Pugutaro.
Additionally, Fuka Izumi will voice Boss-kichi, Yurie Funato will voice Ann, Asami Tano will voice Carry, and Hinata Sato will voice Gurepi.

I will be playing "Ojisan" — 小路三貴, age 41! An ojisan who loves cute things.
But he can't shout "Cute!!!!!" out loud because he cares too much about appearances — a dependable boss of an ojisan.
An ojisan who ends up being seen as an "ikeo-ji" because he works so hard not to seem creepy.
I gave everything I had to both the outer and inner sides of this ojisan. An "ojisan" who loves Pugutaro. I hope everyone comes to love him too.
Miyu Tomita (voice of Pugutaro)
I'm Miyu Tomita, and I'll be voicing Pugutaro.
I had seen Pugutaro around town even before encountering this work, so when I passed the audition, I was overjoyed — thinking, "I can't believe I get to voice this character!"
I too have always felt that the world is overflowing with cute things, so I can relate to so much in Ojikawa. Since all of Pugutaro's emotions are expressed in "pug language," I had to open up drawers inside myself I'd never opened before during recording.
This is a work that will bring joy to your everyday life without a doubt — please look forward to it!
