A pop-up cafe and shop event titled "Okinawa Coffee and Chocolate" will be held from Friday, October 30 to Sunday, November 8, 2026, at the counter on the 1st floor of Spiral in Omotesando, Tokyo. The event is hosted by Okinawa Prefecture.
Two exhibitors take part: TIMELESS CHOCOLATE, Okinawa's first "BEAN TO BAR" style chocolate specialty shop, which keeps making chocolate with a focus on Okinawa-grown sugarcane, and rokkan COFFEE CREATORS, a roaster active both inside and outside the prefecture that handles rare Okinawa-grown coffee. Each will open its own pop-up cafe and shop.
With the zelkova trees lining the avenue turning color and autumn in full swing in Omotesando, visitors are invited to come and experience a new side of Okinawa.

Opening hours are 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM (until 4:00 PM on Sunday, November 8).
TIMELESS CHOCOLATE (October 30 to November 1)
For the three days from October 30 to November 1, TIMELESS CHOCOLATE will run the pop-up. Along with original items such as chocolate, kokuto (brown sugar) and granola, the shop will sell products from "Yamada Coffee" and 誠平, which TIMELESS CHOCOLATE selects and also sells at its own shop.
In the cafe, visitors can enjoy the "pure kokuto chocolate terrine," made only with house-roasted cacao beans, pure Okinawa-grown kokuto, Okinawa-grown eggs and domestic butter, together with Yamada Coffee's TIMELESS original blend coffee or 誠平's cacao chai.
TIMELESS CHOCOLATE was founded in 2014 as Okinawa's first "BEAN TO BAR" style chocolate specialty shop, using only cacao beans and sugarcane as ingredients. The reason for making chocolate in Okinawa is the sugarcane fields spreading across the islands. By exploring sugar whose flavor differs by island and variety, and the rich taste nurtured by nature, the shop creates fresh chocolate unique to Okinawa and shares it from Chatan, Okinawa. It received the Okinawa Governor's Award in 2020.

rokkan COFFEE CREATORS (November 6 to 8)
For the three days from November 6 to 8, rokkan COFFEE CREATORS will take over. The highlight is a tasting comparison of Okinawa-grown coffees. Three coffees are available: 久米島町 山玉城コーヒー, 久米島町 しらせコーヒー園 and 東村 ハーモニーコーヒーファーム, offering a rare chance to compare them side by side. Sweets that reinterpret traditional Okinawan confectionery, such as the "chinsuko rum raisin sandwich" and "kunpen," as well as the popular original blends 「琉球」 and 「新北風」, are served for eating in or taking out.
The "rokkan × 志陶房" cups and saucers actually used in the cafe will also be on sale, so visitors can enjoy an experience that includes the tableware as well as the coffee.
rokkan COFFEE CREATORS is a group of professionals who share Okinawa's coffee culture with the world under the theme: "Imagining the coffee of tomorrow, creating the coffee of tomorrow. Coffee that goes beyond the five senses, from Okinawa to the world." It is a specialty store for Okinawa-grown coffee beans that handles seven farms in total, including three domestic (Okinawa-grown) specialty coffee farms recognized around the world.

About Okinawa-Grown Coffee
Okinawa Prefecture lies at the northern limit of the "Coffee Belt," the coffee-growing zone spreading around the equator. It is both a coffee-producing and a coffee-consuming area, which is rare even by global standards. Beyond being the only coffee-producing area in Japan, it has farms, roasters and baristas close to one another, and a distinctive, high-quality coffee culture is growing.
Okinawa-grown coffee has been selected as "specialty coffee" certified by the Coffee Quality Institute (CQI), an international assessment body, so its quality is well established. However, production volume is very small, which makes the coffee hard to find even within the prefecture and very rare.
