SEGA has released Outbound, a cozy survival game developed by Square Glade Games, on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, and Nintendo Switch today, June 25 (Thursday).

Set in a near-future utopia, Outbound is an open-world exploration game where players live a self-sufficient life in their own camper van and build their ideal home.
The game supports solo play as well as cooperative exploration with friends. Players gather materials, craft items, and freely customize their vehicle — from the interior to the roof. By advancing technology and using energy efficiently, players can create a comfortable home that adapts to new terrains and ever-changing environmental conditions.
Development Roadmap
Square Glade Games has released a roadmap for upcoming updates. Planned additions include fishing and a variety of wildlife, with more elements to enrich the survival experience set to be added. Updates are planned on a seasonal basis.
