PARKER Unveils LEGACY OF FLIGHT Collection Inspired by Aviation Heritage – Featuring Limited Edition Duofold Flagship Model

Newell Brands Japan LLC (Shibaura, Minato-ku, Tokyo; President: Yutaka Nakazato), the distributor of luxury pen brand PARKER, has announced the LEGACY OF FLIGHT collection, reinterpreting the spirit of challenge and progress from aviation's early days. The collection features a limited edition of PARKER's flagship model, the Duofold, which will be available for advance sale at Maruzen Nihonbashi flagship store from February 4, 2026 (Wednesday), with general sales beginning February 11, 2026 (Wednesday).

LEGACY OF FLIGHT – Charting Your Own Course

During aviation's pioneering era, maps of the sky did not yet exist.

Trailblazers relied on magnetic aviation compasses and their own judgment to forge new flight paths.

The LEGACY OF FLIGHT collection draws inspiration from the bold challenges and exploratory spirit etched into aviation history. It combines PARKER's long-cherished values of using writing to organize thoughts and map one's own path forward with the pioneering spirit of those who ventured into the unknown, creating a presence that quietly encourages those living in the modern era.

The Collection's Centerpiece – Duofold Limited Edition

The symbol of the LEGACY OF FLIGHT collection is a limited edition of the Duofold, PARKER's flagship model.

The cap features an engraved symmetrical design reminiscent of aviation compasses. The contrast with the glossy black resin visible inside creates a refined appearance that evokes the precision instruments of aviation's early days.

The bi-color nib, finished with 18k gold and rhodium plating, expresses the precision and accuracy of aviation compasses. The cap crown is adorned with a motif of the Fairchild monoplane that PARKER first purchased in 1928. The powerful contrast of black and silver evokes the metallic beauty of classic aircraft bodies and propellers, completing a unique presence where PARKER's craftsmanship merges with aviation legacy.

PARKER's Deep Connection with Aviation

In the 1920s, PARKER conducted bold promotional campaigns touring the United States in a red-and-black painted Fairchild monoplane. They demonstrated the durability of Duofold fountain pens by dropping them from altitudes of 3,000 feet, showcasing their innovation and pioneering spirit to the world. This aircraft was later named "Parker Duofold" by Amelia Earhart.

The Duofold has been inscribed in PARKER's history as a symbol of flight. This limited edition is a tribute to that masterpiece and the golden age of aviation.
