The art toy brand POP MART will hold the grand opening of "POP MART LUCUA SOUTH Store" on Tuesday, November 24, 2026, at LUCUA SOUTH in Osaka's Umeda.
The limited-time "POP MART LUCUA 1100 POP UP Store," which opened this spring, will end operations on Sunday, November 8, and will evolve into "POP MART LUCUA SOUTH Store" at LUCUA SOUTH. The new store is part of "LUCUA Characters World" (LUCUA キャラクターズワールド), one of Japan's largest character zones inside LUCUA SOUTH. From this new base where pop culture from around the world gathers, POP MART aims to share the appeal of its many IPs with more customers.
Main Visual Featuring LABUBU
The main visual of the store features the globally popular LABUBU. It is meant to lead visitors who come to the store for LABUBU to discover the many other IPs that POP MART offers. The background of the visual is dotted with elements inspired by the Umeda cityscape, along with a sun that brightens the many encounters and discoveries to be had.

SKULLPANDA Monument
The monument displayed inside the store features SKULLPANDA, a character that has been growing in popularity and recognition in recent years. This is the first SKULLPANDA monument in the Osaka area.
SKULLPANDA travels through different times and spaces and experiences a multifaceted life by playing various roles. The character expresses a worldview of pursuing a truer self through this vast exploration. By displaying the highly fashionable and artistic SKULLPANDA, the store presents a new side of POP MART as designer toys, beyond cuteness alone.
For this monument, "The Vow" from the "SKULLPANDA Petals in Four Acts" series, which is based on Shakespeare's plays, was chosen from among SKULLPANDA's many figures. Inspired by Shakespeare's representative work "Romeo and Juliet," it recreates the scene in which Juliet expresses her love through roses. Through the symbolism of love in the work and SKULLPANDA's artistic worldview, the monument conveys the depth of designer toys.
