Media Integration is bringing Positive Grid's newest release, the Spark PEDAL, to Japan on September 25, 2026 (Friday), with pre-orders opening September 9 (Wednesday).
Spark PEDAL condenses the sound and functionality of Positive Grid's flagship Spark series into a compact, pedal-format housing — a portable smart amp and effects pedal. Alongside authentic amp-rig tone shaping, it packs 43 effects, a 60-second looper, and smartphone app integration, and it can be connected to a PA system, guitar amp, pedalboard, headphones, or computer.
A built-in rechargeable battery provides up to seven hours of playing time, so it can go wherever the music does — home practice, live shows, jam sessions, or recording sessions.

A Full Rig, One Pedal
Spark PEDAL combines a stage-ready amp rig, an intelligent effects processor, and an easy-to-use looper into a single compact foot pedal. There's no fiddly menu diving or routing to set up — just plug in and take full control of Spark's ecosystem underfoot, whether playing electric guitar, acoustic guitar, or bass.
Key Features
- Connects seamlessly into virtually any setup
- Intuitive dual-mode control with five knobs and three footswitches
- The same HD Tone Engine as the Spark 2, plus companion app features
- A 60-second looper and up to seven hours of battery life
Connects Seamlessly Into Any Setup
Spark PEDAL can be connected to a PA system, an existing pedalboard, a computer, headphones, or a favorite amp. It can send a high-quality, cabinet-emulated stereo signal directly to a PA mixer, or, when connected to an amp, switch off the cabinet simulator to work as a powerful multi-effects unit instead.

It connects wirelessly to a guitar via Spark LINK (sold separately), by cable to a Spark CAB (sold separately), and via Bluetooth to the Spark App on a smartphone.

Intuitive Dual-Mode Control, No Complicated Setup
Five multi-function knobs and three sturdy footswitches make precise tone shaping intuitive.
- Amp Mode: Quickly dial in Gain, Bass, Mid, and Treble in real time, just like a traditional amp.
- FX Mode: Press the main knob to instantly switch the same controls to stompbox duty, adjusting the depth of Drive, Modulation, Delay, and Reverb. Six custom presets can be saved on the unit and switched with the footswitches mid-performance.

The Same HD Tone Engine as the Spark 2, Plus a Range of App Features
Spark PEDAL uses the same high-resolution DSP architecture as the best-selling Spark 2 practice amp, with 33 amp models and 43 effects on board. Pairing it with the free Spark App (iOS and Android) unlocks further features:
- Spark AI: Type a description of the sound in mind and it generates the tone automatically.
- ToneCloud: Download from over 100,000 tones shared by users around the world.
- Auto Chords: Automatically analyzes and displays a song's chords in real time.

A 60-Second Looper and Up to Seven Hours of Battery Life

A built-in 60-second looper handles recording, overdubbing, and undo entirely hands-free.
With up to seven hours of playing time on its rechargeable battery, it can also handle busking, jam sessions away from an outlet, and recording — all from the one unit.
