Making Sports Bike Experiences More Accessible

Sports bikes are vehicles whose appeal is best understood through firsthand experience. The exhilaration of feeling the wind while riding and the thrill of propelling yourself forward cannot be fully conveyed through words alone—the "experience itself" is the attraction. However, many people who are interested struggle to take the first step due to uncertainty about "how to begin" or "where to experience it."

RINCLE was created to address these concerns about taking that first step. By increasing options such as "try before you buy" and "ride a professional-quality bike while traveling," the platform aims to make entry into sports biking more accessible.

What is RINCLE?

RINCLE is a sports bike rental platform that combines web-based reservation systems with the customer service and maintenance quality unique to sports bike specialty shops. By integrating online convenience with in-person professional shop experiences, it provides a system where even first-timers can confidently experience sports biking.

Future Vision: All 47 Prefectures - A Network of 300 Stores / 3,000 Bikes

RINCLE's future vision is "Participating stores: 300 stores / Rental bikes: 3,000 bikes scale." By establishing environments where people can experience sports bikes in each region, the goal is to create a society where "trying it out" becomes a natural option.

Current Participation Status and Future Development

RINCLE currently operates with a structure of 5 operating entities and 24 stores. Initially focusing on aligning operational quality, the platform is conducting verification and improvement to enhance both experience value and operational precision. At the same time, many sports bike retailers have expressed interest. Moving forward, the plan is to gradually expand participating stores while maintaining experience quality. Developing RINCLE as a nationwide platform will also create touchpoints for each regional store to reach previously difficult-to-access customer segments. Preparations are underway for participation within the fiscal year. Retailers interested in RINCLE's initiatives are encouraged to contact us. Information materials outlining participation conditions and operational details will be provided.

Future Global Expansion (Tourism and Regional Experience Integration)

RINCLE plans to eventually offer sports bike experiences for inbound tourists. As a prerequisite, the first priority is to carefully build a system that is trusted and safely used domestically.

By connecting regional professional shop-quality experiences with tourism and cycle tourism, the goal is to develop into an experience chosen by both domestic and international users.

Representative's Comment

Throughout my years operating a sports bike shop, I've witnessed countless moments when customers first straddle a sports bike. The surprise expressed in "It's so light!" and "It moves so smoothly!" encapsulates the appeal of these vehicles. However, the barriers to reaching that experience are not low. Many people who are interested cannot take the first step because they don't know where to experience it or which model to choose.

RINCLE is a platform for increasing locations where "someone to consult" and "a trustworthy bike" are both available, by partnering with professional shops in each region. I hope RINCLE can encourage those who have even a slight interest in sports bikes to give riding a try without feeling pressured.
