San-X Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) announces the release of commemorative merchandise for "Sumikko Gurashi: Sky Kingdom and Two Friends" movie, premiering nationwide on Friday, October 31st. The merchandise collection will be available starting Friday, October 24th at retail stores nationwide, participating movie theaters (excluding some locations), online shops, and other outlets.
Additionally, the "Sumikko Gurashi Book Fair" has been confirmed to begin on the same date at famous bookstores nationwide, featuring dedicated Sumikko Gurashi book sections. The movie commemorative merchandise will also be sold at participating bookstore locations.
Furthermore, limited merchandise from the TV anime "Sumikko Gurashi: This Place is Comfortable" currently airing on NTV's "ZIP!" will also be available at select stores.

【Story】
The Sumikko town has been experiencing nothing but rain lately.
One day, something suddenly fell from the cloudy sky above!
"Are you okay?" When the Sumikko characters rushed over, they discovered it was a "Prince" and his "Attendant" from the Sky Kingdom.
The kingdom is currently facing a severe water shortage, and while the Prince is working hard to solve it alone, his Attendant looks worried.
Learning that a clue to solving the water shortage lies in the "Water Temple," the Sumikko characters join their new friends for a grand adventure above the clouds!

Born in 2012 with the concept "This place is comfortable," Sumikko Gurashi characters have gained popularity across all age groups with their adorable yet slightly negative and surreal personalities and stories.
