Hokusai's bold compositions and original techniques have influenced artists in Japan and abroad, as well as modern Japanese manga and anime, and his expression and ideas live on in today's works. Meanwhile, Sanrio Characters, including Hello Kitty, have been loved by people of all generations around the world for more than half a century and have shared "kawaii" culture through their characters.

During the event, centered on the Tembo Galleria, visitors can enjoy exhibition decorations of Hokusai's works presented together with Sanrio Characters. Limited goods and cafe menus available only at Tokyo Skytree will also be on sale.
