Tokyo Skytree is hosting its first-ever "Cool Sky, Spectacular Views" event, giving visitors a refreshing taste of Japanese summer atmosphere at the observation deck.
Set on the Tembo Deck, 350 meters above the ground, the event debuts new photo spots and decorative displays themed around scenes of a Japanese summer. Visitors can enjoy a photogenic space that combines the sweeping view below with classic summer motifs such as goldfish, wind chimes, and paper lanterns. Three types of special lighting will also be switched on, alongside the sale of limited-time cafe menu items.
The Observation Deck: Where Cool Sky Meets Japanese Summer Scenery
New refreshing photo spots and decorative displays incorporate classic Japanese summer elements like goldfish, wind chimes, and paper lanterns. It's a special opportunity for international visitors to experience the charm of a Japanese summer firsthand.

Limited-Time Cafe Menu Items Arrive!
Alongside the observation deck views, visitors can feel the coolness of summer through both sight and taste. The lineup includes a cocktail with the refreshing flavors of mint and lime, and a colorful jelly soda designed to look like swimming goldfish — playful, photogenic menu items perfect for summer.
Watch for Motion: Special Lighting!
Three special lighting displays will be lit: "Sunflower," inspired by sunflowers blooming vibrantly; "Goldfish Swimming (Oyogu yo Kingyo)," depicting goldfish swimming freely in a tank; and "Fireworks," featuring four different firework effects. Enjoy this summer-only special lighting.

4. Special Lighting
During the event, three special summer lighting displays will be lit. "Sunflower" and "Goldfish Swimming (Oyogu yo Kingyo)" will be lit on weekdays, while "Fireworks" will be lit on Sundays. Enjoy these displays full of motion.

5. Sunflower-Themed Symbol Tree and Merchandise
At the "SKYTREE SHOP" on Tokyo Skytree's 5th floor, the symbol tree takes on a summer-only sunflower design. The shop sells summery, firework-patterned merchandise so visitors can take home a piece of their observation deck experience, along with an event-limited engraved medal keychain featuring Tokyo Skytree and summer motifs.
