A special program is set to take place on Sunday, March 22, 2026, as part of the ongoing Sennan Oyster Festival at SENNAN LONG PARK's "Umi no Marché" (2-201 Rinku Minamihama, Sennan City, Osaka). The festival runs every weekend from January through late March, and this particular Sunday brings an extra lineup of entertainment and hands-on activities alongside the usual fresh oyster offerings.
Note that the event may be cancelled in the event of rain. Check the official Instagram account for updates: https://www.instagram.com/sennancity/
March 22 Special Program Details

Special Stage Show
A live stage show will be held on the day, bringing together three acts:

Basketball performer ISSEI

OZK Dance School, a kids' dance troupe active in the local Sennan and Hannan area

Slinky juggler Sasaman
Free Oyster Soup (First-Come, First-Served)

Plump oysters served in a flavourful broth will be available free of charge. A variety of ingredients will be included in the soup alongside the oysters. Quantities are limited, so arriving early is recommended.
Available from 11:00 AM, while supplies last.
Local Sake Tasting

A monthly highlight of the Sennan Oyster Festival, the local sake tasting returns with five carefully selected varieties of Japanese sake. Each cup is priced at ¥300 (tax included) or ¥500 (tax included) depending on the selection. Hot sake (atsukan) is also available. Valid photo ID confirming age is required for purchase.
Oyster Shell Recycling Workshop

Visitors can take part in a workshop using recycled oyster shells to create an original oyster shell candle—a hands-on souvenir to commemorate the day.
Food Rally and Prize Lottery

A stamp card is available at the entrance on the special event day. Stamps are collected by purchasing food from festival vendors, and a completed card can be entered into a prize lottery with the chance to win premium items.
The above content is exclusive to the March 22 special event day.
Weekend Special Menus at Umi no Marché
Each weekend of the festival features daily limited menus and giveaway events at the venue. Special menus for the day may include oyster yakisoba (stir-fried noodles made with Sennan oysters) and tai-meshi (sea bream rice), a local Sennan specialty. Giveaway events have included fresh wakame seaweed, wakame miso soup, grilled squid skewers, and black sea bream tempura, depending on the day.

Please note that some menus and giveaways are available in limited quantities and will end once supplies run out.
