SHIBUYA ART SCRAMBLE 2026 Reveals 13 Art Programs Across Shibuya from November 2 to 8

The full lineup has been announced for the 18th SHIBUYA ART SCRAMBLE 2026, which will take place from Monday, November 2 to Sunday, November 8, 2026. The festival is organized by the SHIBUYA ART SCRAMBLE Executive Committee (Chairperson: 小林幹育, representative of the 渋谷・東地区まちづくり協議会).

SHIBUYA ART SCRAMBLE is an arts festival that treats the whole city of Shibuya as an art park in the autumn art season, creating opportunities for a wide range of people to "touch," "think about" and "feel" art.

This year, more than 10 art programs will be held across Shibuya's commercial facilities and public spaces, including Shibuya City's Miyashita Park, Shibuya Hikarie and Yoyogi Park BE STAGE. For one week in the autumn art season, the streets of Shibuya will be filled with a wide variety of art.

The festival began after it was decided that Taro Okamoto's work "Myth of Tomorrow" (明日の神話) would be permanently installed at Shibuya Station. Regarding the whole of Shibuya, a leading media city in Japan, as a gallery, the festival opens every kind of space to people taking on challenges and explores the relationship between cities and art. It is a cultural initiative by Shibuya, an international cultural tourism city, that creates opportunities for diverse people to touch, think about and experience art, and connects city to city, person to person, past to present, and present to future through art.
