A market of lucky charms (engimono), "Good Lucky Market", starts on October 6 at Shibuya Loft. It brings together about 170 items, including daruma, which are loved as symbols of "fall seven times, get up eight" and of making wishes, and maneki-neko (beckoning cats), which carry meanings such as business prosperity and a steady flow of customers. Sea bream-themed items that are also suited as gifts for celebrations are part of the lineup too.
The selection ranges from traditional local folk toys to designs that are easy to bring into modern daily life, introducing lucky charms in a new light.
