The "Photo with Penguins" and "Penguin Feeding Experience" events are back at Shimoda Marine Aquarium (Shimoda City, Shizuoka Prefecture) as of June 1st. Both events had been on hold due to highly pathogenic avian influenza, but a reduction in the avian flu alert level has allowed them to safely restart.
