Shinagawa Prince Hotel Hosts Japan's Only Minions & Monsters Hotel Collaboration This Summer

Shinagawa Prince Hotel (4-10-30 Takanawa, Minato-ku, Tokyo; General Manager Shingo Haruyama) is offering Japan's only hotel collaboration menu tied to the globally popular movie Minions & Monsters (opening nationwide Friday, August 7, 2026), available from Tuesday, July 21 through Thursday, September 24, 2026.

A Cool Summer Escape for the Whole Family

Summer is peak season for outings with family and friends, and as the heat drags on longer each year, more people are drawn to indoor leisure spots where they can stay cool and comfortable. Shinagawa Prince Hotel is home to a wide range of entertainment, including a movie theater, an aquarium, and a bowling center. This summer, the hotel brings the world of the globally loved Minions & Monsters to life through hotel-made sweets and baked goods, offering a limited-time menu that lets guests enjoy the film's world before or after watching the movie.

At Coffee Lounge Mauna Kea on the 2nd floor of the Main Tower, mousse cakes made with bananas — the Minions' favorite food — sit alongside sweets modeled after the green monster "Goomy." Next door at Boulangerie Shinagawa, character-shaped breads filled with banana cream and custard cream are on sale. The hotel's chefs and bakers paid close attention to every detail, carefully recreating the characters' endearing expressions and shapes while finishing each item with the hotel's own genuine flavor.

Stopping by before or after a movie lets guests "taste" the film's world, turning the excitement of the big screen into an even more memorable experience. Together with adorable, photo-ready visuals, this brings food and entertainment together in a way only Shinagawa Prince Hotel — home to its own movie theater — can, under the hotel's "FUN! Goes On" concept, for a special experience available only this summer.
