To mark the Japan release of the film Minions & Monsters on August 7 (Friday), 2026, Grand Prince Hotel Shintakanawa (Takanawa, Minato-ku, Tokyo; General Manager Ayumu Imai) is offering a collaboration stay, food menu, and limited-day special events themed around the film's world, running from July 17 (Friday) through August 30 (Sunday), 2026.
Located in central Tokyo yet just a five-minute walk from Shinagawa Station, the hotel is set within a lush Japanese garden and features a garden pool and large-scale banquet halls. This summer, it is bringing the collaboration with Minions & Monsters to life, offering an immersive, story-driven experience for guests of all ages, timed to the summer vacation season when outings with family and friends are in high demand.
A playful, immersive collaboration room designed to feel like stepping into one of the Minions' film-set scenes will be available, limited to two rooms per day. In a room that sleeps up to four guests, visitors can feel the film's world come alive as they're surrounded by mischievous Minions. The stay plan also includes a pool admission ticket, letting guests enjoy the collaboration decorations at the greenery-lined garden pool along with a character-themed poolside café menu.

A three-day limited pool event, ICE Park Day, will also take place: the hotel's ice sculptor delivers a dramatic performance, carving Minions-themed ice and dropping it into the pool for a cool, refreshing moment that blows away the midsummer heat. In addition, Takanawa Natsu Matsuri 2026 will host interactive events guests can enjoy comfortably inside the spacious banquet hall, including a bon odori dance set to the film's original song "Mini Ondo" and an original-goods giveaway for visitors wearing Minions- or Monsters-related items.
Guests can spend a special summer with the Minions and a cast of quirky monsters, immersed in the film's world together with family and friends.
