The keyboard customization app Simeji (available on iOS and Android) has kicked off a collaboration campaign with Sumikko Gurashi starting March 11, 2026. The campaign features limited-edition keyboard skin parts available through an in-app gacha, along with a special input effect available to all users during the campaign period.
1. Sumikko Gurashi x Simeji Collaboration Keyboard Skin Parts Gacha
During the collaboration period, users can spin the in-app gacha to win exclusive Sumikko Gurashi-themed keyboard skin parts. These limited designs are only available during the collaboration period.

How to Participate
- Download the Simeji app on your smartphone. (If already installed, updating to the latest version is recommended.)
- Tap the Sumikko Gurashi collaboration banner inside the Simeji app.
- Tap "Spin Gacha."
Each gacha spin costs 200 Kinoko Coins.

A total of 40 keyboard skin parts are available in this collaboration gacha:

- Backgrounds (all characters together): 5 types

- Backgrounds (each main character): 5 types

Duplicate items will be converted into "fragments."

How to Apply Skin Parts
- Download the Simeji app on your smartphone. (Updating to the latest version is recommended if already installed.)
- After launching the app, tap the "+" button at the bottom center of the home screen, or tap "Photo/Video Skins" below the top banner. (Android users: tap "Photo/Video Skins" below the top banner.)
- Select your desired collaboration design parts, then tap "Done" in the upper right to finish.
2. Input Effect Feature (Available to All Users During the Campaign Period)
When typing, selecting specific keywords from the conversion suggestions causes images or videos to appear on the keyboard. During this collaboration, typing the keywords "すみっコぐらし" or "すみっコ" triggers a special limited effect.

The effect play button will appear up to 3 times after entering the keyword. After the button appears, the effect can be replayed as many times as desired.
