A special themed café — "STAR WARS" CAFE: Galactic Diner — is set to open at two locations in Japan to coincide with the theatrical release of Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu. The Osaka location opens on May 28, 2026, and the Tokyo location follows on June 4, 2026.
Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu arrives in cinemas simultaneously in Japan and the US on May 22, 2026. The film is the theatrical sequel to the hit Disney+ live-action series The Mandalorian, set after the events of Star Wars: Episode VI — Return of the Jedi. It follows the stoic bounty hunter Din Djarin (the Mandalorian) and the Force-sensitive young Grogu as they face a new threat — the resurgence of the Empire.
The café menu draws inspiration from characters in both The Mandalorian series and the film, along with a special selection marking the 10th anniversary of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. The menu is designed with photo opportunities in mind. Limited-edition merchandise, souvenirs, and exclusive perks are also on offer.

About the Film
