Sapporo's urban aquarium AOAO SAPPORO is hosting a special collaboration exhibition with the popular YouTube animated series Teikou Penguin: "Teikou Penguin × AOAO SAPPORO: On a Business Trip! Enjoying Sapporo's Streets and the Aquarium." The exhibition runs from April 28 to June 30, 2026, marking the first time Teikou Penguin has collaborated with an aquarium.
The exhibition follows the Teikou Penguin characters — who spend their days resisting the unreasonable demands of working life — as they head to Sapporo and discover a new way to enjoy the aquarium alongside its marine life. Visitors can find energy and humor in seeing the penguins interact with the aquarium's creatures as they explore together.
About Teikou Penguin
Teikou Penguin is a YouTube animated series launched in 2019 that depicts the daily lives of animals working at a demanding company: penguins who resist unreasonable treatment from a panda boss who does no work and an orca junior employee who constantly makes mistakes. A Teikou Penguin-themed stamp rally runs throughout the aquarium. Participants who complete the rally receive a limited-edition sticker.
