As part of Filmarks Revival — a revival screening project by Filmarks (フィルマークス), one of Japan's largest review services for films, dramas, and anime — the 20th anniversary theatrical run of director Mamoru Hosoda's beloved work The Girl Who Leapt Through Time is set to begin nationwide on July 3, 2026 (Friday).

Ahead of the main run, details have been announced for a fan event taking place on June 26 (Friday). Director Mamoru Hosoda will appear as a special guest. Tickets include a venue-exclusive collaboration drink tied to the "Mamoru Hosoda's Origins" exhibition.

Collaboration drinks for the fan event

Ticket holders can choose one of two collaboration drinks: "Time-Leaping Pudding Drink" (時をかけるプリンドリンク) or "Blue Sky and Cumulonimbus Cloud Soft Cream Soda" (青空と入道雲のソフトクリームソーダ), selected at time of purchase.

The evening's program goes beyond a standard talk session. Attendees can look forward to a team-based "Toki-kake" quiz competition and the kind of fan-to-fan interaction that makes this a genuine fan event. It is a rare opportunity to hear the director speak in an intimate setting while connecting with fellow fans.
