Two ramen events are coming to Shinmachigawa Waterfront Park (新町川水際公園) in Tokushima City on Saturday, October 31 and Sunday, November 1, 2026. The "Kids Ramen Class" lets children try arranging the toppings on a bowl of Tokushima ramen, and the "Tokushima Ramen EXPO 2026" brings together five ramen shops from Tokushima. The events are organized by the Tokushima Prefecture Ramen Industry Cooperative (徳島県ラーメン業協同組合).
The events aim to share the appeal of Tokushima ramen with people of all ages, from children to adults, while bringing more energy to the local community through food and further raising the value of the Tokushima ramen brand.
Event 1: Kids Ramen Class
Children arrange the toppings of a Tokushima ramen bowl themselves and finish their own original bowl. The hands-on event gives children a chance to enjoy eating and to get to know food culture through making ramen.

- Instructor: Shota Inoko (猪子 翔太), manager of the Komatsushima main store of 猪虎
- Weather: Held rain or shine
Registration closes once the capacity is reached.
Certificate for Every Participant
Every child who takes part receives a "Tokushima Ramen Kids Supporter Certificate." The aim is for children to learn about the appeal of Tokushima ramen and become future fans.
Event 2: Tokushima Ramen EXPO 2026
Five of Tokushima's leading ramen shops gather at Shinmachigawa Waterfront Park, where visitors can enjoy the flavor and individuality each shop has developed. A prize draw is also held at the same time, in which visitors who collect stamps from all five shops can win "brown-style (茶系) Tokushima ramen."
