TOWERLAND –ROOFTOP BAR & BBQ–, on the 10th-floor rooftop of the Kyoto Tower Building and operated by Keihan Hotels & Resorts Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shimogyo-ku, Kyoto City; President: Yukio Yamada), is holding three music- and culture-focused events during the Silver Week holiday period from September 20 (Sunday) to September 22 (Tuesday, holiday), 2026: FAMILY DISCO, FUTURE JACK, and Aoharu Rooftop 2026 Autumn.
Set on the open-air rooftop directly beneath NIDEC Kyoto Tower, one of Kyoto's landmarks, the lineup spans a hands-on disco event for parents and kids, a club event built around the buzzy "Future Funk" scene, and a rooftop event exclusively for current high school students — content designed to suit a range of interests. From local guests to visitors from overseas, everyone is invited to enjoy a moment immersed in music beneath the autumn breeze and evening sky at TOWERLAND's distinctive rooftop location.
September 20 (Sun) | FAMILY DISCO
Families with children are especially welcome at this hands-on disco event, where kids dance freely and the sight naturally brings smiles to the adults watching — creating a happy cycle for everyone involved. A DJ selects beloved hits from the 1990s onward that span generations, offering adults a nostalgic, feel-good throwback while giving kids an exciting introduction to new music.
The event includes a DJ experience where guests can try out professional equipment, along with a disco time where children take center stage on the dance floor. It's a space for the whole family to share the joy of music together, dancing along with drinks in hand under the autumn sky.

September 21 (Mon, holiday) | FUTURE JACK
FUTURE JACK is Kansai's first party built around the concept of "taking over the club with Future Funk," based mainly in Osaka and Kyoto. The event, held to strong attention in Seoul, South Korea this past August, makes its debut on TOWERLAND's rooftop floor. "Future Funk" reconstructs City Pop, disco, and funk from the 1970s and '80s into house-inspired sounds at around 125 BPM. With a strong kick, funky basslines, and energetic vocals filling the open-air space beneath Kyoto's landmark tower, the set brings plenty of mood to the rooftop.

September 22 (Tue, holiday) | Aoharu Rooftop 2026 Autumn — High School Students Only Event
On September 22 (Tuesday, holiday), TOWERLAND holds Aoharu Rooftop 2026 Autumn, a rooftop event limited to current high school students.
This edition's theme is "music and making friends." Beyond simply enjoying music, the event is designed to help students connect across schools and grades, creating a page of autumn memories. Set on the rooftop of the Kyoto Tower Building under the autumn sky, the venue is filled with current J-Pop and trending tracks selected by a DJ. Social-media-friendly moments, including the unifying "Aoharu Parade," add to the emotional atmosphere. Amid the open, breezy location and special lighting, guests can enjoy a one-of-a-kind moment of youth found nowhere else. Latecomers are welcome to join partway through, so students are encouraged to stop by after club activities or festival preparations.
