From Sunday, October 4, 2026, a limited-time POP UP SHOP celebrating the 50th anniversary of Unico will be held at Ogaki Shoten Kyoto Yodobashi (大垣書店 京都ヨドバシ店).
What to Expect at the POP UP SHOP
The shop sells Unico: Hoshi no Kizuna – Kakusei-hen (ユニコ 星のきずな -覚醒編-), the sequel to Osamu Tezuka's original Unico, along with a wide range of original goods featuring the Unico 50th logo and retro-style designs.
Some of the items are collaborations with the influencer ゆかしな所長 (Director Yukashina) of 昭和的ガーリー文化研究所 (Showa-teki Girly Bunka Kenkyusho). Venue-exclusive bonuses are also given to purchasers.
The venue also displays reproduction original artwork from Osamu Tezuka's original Unico and from its sequel Unico: Hoshi no Kizuna – Kakusei-hen. This is the first time reproduction artwork from both works is displayed together at the same venue, making it a rare exhibit.

Also at Kyoto Station Building: Unico at the 2nd Kyoto Station Building Art Festival
Unico will also be exhibited at the 2nd Kyoto Station Building Art Festival (第2回京都駅ビル芸術祭), held at Kyoto Station Building from Saturday, October 17.
The booth introduces the covers and synopses of more than 100 books selected from Kodansha's Osamu Tezuka Manga Complete Works (講談社手塚治虫漫画全集). Beyond the famous masterpieces, it includes works connected to Kyoto Station Building and titles known only to Tezuka fans, offering a place to encounter unfamiliar works.
The booth also introduces the original Unico, which reaches its 50th anniversary this year, and displays figures. It is set up as a booth where visitors can enjoy the world of Tezuka's works.
