Universal Studios Japan turns 25 on March 31, 2026. To celebrate a quarter century of entertainment, the park is rolling out a special anniversary year under the theme "Discover U!!!" (Discover You) — running from March 4, 2026 through March 30, 2027. The theme carries a double meaning: discovering a new side of yourself ("Discover You") through the park's thrilling experiences, and rediscovering the park itself ("Discover USJ").
NO LIMIT! Parade — Discover U!!! Version
A special anniversary edition of the park's signature parade, "NO LIMIT! Parade — Discover U!!! Version," is one of the centerpieces of the celebration. Led by a dedicated 25th anniversary float, the parade features eight floats rolling through the park to the sound of a new parade song, "The Power of U." Characters from Hello Kitty, Peanuts, Minions, Sesame Street, SING, Super Nintendo World's Mario and friends, and Pokémon all take part.
At designated points along the route, the parade stops for an "Ultra Discover U!!!" dance segment, where entertainers invite guests to join in and dance together — a lively, no-rules dance party open to all ages.
A special Pokémon float brings out 25 Pikachus (each with a different expression), a nod to Pokémon's Pokédex entry No. 0025 and the park's 25th year. The number of Pikachus appearing may vary depending on conditions on the day.

A special viewing area at Gramercy Park offers close-up entertainment from Woody Woodpecker and Winnie Woodpecker.

Universal Cars & Stars Collection
A new special event, "Universal Cars & Stars Collection," brings together iconic vehicles from classic Hollywood films connected to the park's history. On display are the DeLorean time machine from Back to the Future, the fire truck from Backdraft, the Bluesmobile from The Blues Brothers, and the 1932 classic car from American Graffiti.
The Back to the Future DeLorean and Doc Brown are returning to the park for the first time in about 10 years (their previous appearance was in May 2016). The Blues Brothers' Bluesmobile and a special greeting by Jake & Elwood is making its return after approximately 17 years (last seen in 2009). These comebacks make the event a chance to rediscover the park's 25-year history through its entertainment legacy.

Universal Cars & Stars Collection: Schedule

Discover U!!! Time
"Discover U!!! Time" is a spontaneous street celebration that breaks out when Vaundy's specially composed 25th anniversary theme song, "Destiny Journeys," starts playing in the Hollywood Area. Crew members gather to the music and join guests in singing and dancing together, creating a festive, communal moment in the middle of the park. The song and event were written and designed specifically for the "Discover U!!!" anniversary theme.
Jurassic World Journey Returns This Spring
"Jurassic World Journey," which earned a 100% satisfaction rating among surveyed guests during its run in spring 2025*, is also returning this season. The experience brings baby dinosaurs, large herbivores, and Raptors to life throughout the Jurassic Park area in film-accurate detail.
New for this year is a stamp rally, "Jurassic World Stamp Collection," where guests can explore the area to complete a set of stamps featuring limited 25th anniversary designs.
*Based on a self-administered satisfaction survey of 300 guests who experienced "Jurassic World Journey" between March 21 and April 13, 2025.

The theme of our 25th anniversary is 'Discover U!!!' It has two meanings: 'Discover You' — the experience of meeting an unexpected side of yourself — and 'Discover USJ,' rediscovering the park's entertainment.
