Universal Studios Japan (USJ), celebrating its own 25th anniversary, is hosting a series of special programs at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™ to mark the 25th anniversary of the release of Harry Potter™ and the Sorcerer's Stone. The events run from September 1 (Tuesday) through September 30 (Wednesday), 2026, under the banner of "Back to Hogwarts™."
Back to Hogwarts Returns! Special One-Night Event for Fans Only
September 1 — the date when the new school year begins at Hogwarts™ School of Witchcraft and Wizardry — is celebrated by Harry Potter fans around the world as "Back to Hogwarts™." This year, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™ at USJ is once again hosting special programs for fans to mark the occasion together.
Back to Hogwarts™ Special Event: An Exclusive Area After Dark
On the evening of September 1, the area will be reserved exclusively for fans after park close, with a special "Back to Hogwarts™" event. Participants may even receive a very special invitation. A range of exclusive programs will be available in a magical space shared only by fellow fans — the perfect opportunity to fully immerse yourself in the world of the films, dressed in your favorite house robe and carrying your wand.
In addition, to commemorate the 25th anniversary of Harry Potter™ and the Sorcerer's Stone, an original sticker inspired by "Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans™" will be distributed to event participants before the general release on September 2. Participants will also have early access to a special digital badge.
Please note: attendance is by pre-drawn lottery only. Walk-up tickets will not be available.

Limited-Edition Digital Badges for USJ Fan Members During Back to Hogwarts™
Throughout the Back to Hogwarts™ period, registered members of the free "USJ Fan" program who visit The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™ will be able to earn limited-edition digital badges. The badges are inspired by the four Hogwarts™ houses, with a new design releasing each week. Collect all four to unlock a fifth, special digital badge.

Hogwarts™ Castle Walk Returns for a Limited Time from September 1
The beloved Hogwarts™ Castle Walk — which lets guests explore the interior of Hogwarts™ castle along a special route — is returning for a limited run from Tuesday, September 1, 2026 through Sunday, January 17, 2027. Guests can walk through grand magical spaces recreated from the films in extraordinary detail, including the large griffin statue guarding Dumbledore's office and the portrait-lined corridors with their soaring ceilings.
Original Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans™ Stickers Distributed from September 2
To celebrate the 25th anniversary of Harry Potter™ and the Sorcerer's Stone and the Back to Hogwarts™ event, an original sticker inspired by the "Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans™" advertisement will be distributed at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™ starting Wednesday, September 2, 2026. These beloved sweets first appeared in the first film, enjoyed by Hogwarts™-bound students aboard the Hogwarts™ Express.
