I'll be in Tokyo for the first time in 10 days from now. I'm looking forward to the izakaya atmosphere and food. I am staying in Sumida - any recommendations?

There are many great places in Sumida Ward.
I also recommend the izakayas around Skytree and Kinshicho 🍻

There are two places I haven't been to yet, but I'm personally interested in!

One is "Beer House Mitsuyoshi".
It's in the Oshiage area, and apparently, you can enjoy over 100 kinds of canned and bottled beers! 🍺
They also seem popular for their handmade snacks like gyoza and smoked dishes, so I think it's a place that beer lovers would find irresistible!

The other is "Maguro Standard".
It's an izakaya specializing in tuna dishes, and its appeal is that you can enjoy not only sashimi and grilled tuna but also rare cuts 🐟✨
I also think it's wonderful that they cook tuna sustainably, seeing it as a "fish with no wasted parts."

Both places seem to have a great atmosphere, and I'd like to visit them someday ✨ I hope this is helpful for you!
