Along the approach to the shrine, you'll find plenty of local specialties perfect for snacking, such as shirasu bowls, grilled seafood, and octopus rice crackers, making it easy to enjoy sightseeing and dining at the same time. In the evening, however, the island itself becomes quiet, with only a limited number of restaurants open. For bar hopping or enjoying drinks at night, the areas around Katase-Enoshima Station and Fujisawa Station are recommended, where locals frequent small izakayas and bars. The best way to enjoy Enoshima is to savor its seafood cuisine during the day and then experience izakaya culture at the nearby station areas in the evening.
