“Ibusuki Onsen” is a hot spring area located in “Ibusuki City,” Kagoshima Prefecture, famous especially for its unique “natural sand bath” which is rare even on a global scale. Although the exact opening period of “Ibusuki Onsen” is unclear, it has been used as a sand bath therapy since the Edo period.
