8HOTEL CHIGASAKI, located in Chigasaki, Kanagawa, is opening its previously guests-only poolside lounge BAR to non-guests for a limited period from March 15, 2026 (Sunday) to June 30, 2026 (Tuesday). This gives anyone visiting the Shonan area a chance to enjoy a cocktail by the pool in a relaxed, hotel-quality atmosphere.
POOL SIDE LOUNGE Now Open to All
The BAR, known as "POOL SIDE LOUNGE," has until now been available exclusively to hotel guests. During this limited-time period, locals and visitors to the Shonan area can drop in for cocktails and drinks while enjoying the poolside setting.
The hotel's concept is "FEEL OCEAN, FEEL LOCAL, FEEL YOURSELF," and this initiative is part of an effort to make the hotel space accessible beyond overnight stays. It's a fitting option for an after-work drink, a second stop on a date night, or simply winding down on a Shonan evening. Note that from July through September, the lounge returns to guests-only operation during the summer season, with non-guest access planned to resume in October.

Morning at 8HOTEL CHIGASAKI – Open to Everyone
Since September 2025, the morning service at 8HOTEL CHIGASAKI has also been open to non-guests. Breakfast is served poolside, where the morning light and Shonan's fresh air make for a pleasant start to the day.
The breakfast centers on a soup bar offering a rotating selection of three out of 20 original soups each day. A half-buffet is also available, allowing visitors to customize their own hot dogs and bread with various toppings. The menu changes slightly from day to day, making it a flexible morning option whether you're on a trip or just exploring the neighborhood.
