Oiso Prince Hotel and Kamakura Prince Hotel are inviting Tatsuya Sou, owner of the evolved shaved ice brand "Koori wo Kizame," for a pop-up event running for three days only: July 31 (Friday), August 1 (Saturday), and August 2 (Sunday), 2026.
The event introduces an "evolved shaved ice" concept that goes beyond the traditional dessert, pairing artistic visuals with delicate flavors — smooth-melting ice and textural accents combined into a new sweets experience meant to be enjoyed with all five senses.
For the pop-up, Kamakura Prince Hotel is serving an Okinawan salt caramel and strawberry mascarpone tiramisu shaved ice, while Oiso Prince Hotel is offering an Okinawan salt caramel macadamia nut and mango tiramisu version, both available only for the event.
Guests can enjoy the dessert in two distinct settings: Oiso Prince Hotel, overlooking the open waters of the Shonan coast, and Kamakura Prince Hotel, where the atmosphere of the old capital meets a resort feel.

About "Koori wo Kizame"

"Koori wo Kizame" is a popular shaved ice shop in Chatan, Okinawa, known for a texture that redefines what shaved ice can be. It was founded by Tatsuya Sou, an active mixed martial arts fighter who fell in love with evolved shaved ice. After sampling shaved ice from well-known shops across Japan and training at a popular shop in Setagaya, Tokyo, he opened his own shop in his hometown of Okinawa in 2018. The brand is known for a fluffy new texture created through an original shaving technique, paired with a variety of flavors built around a signature house-made cream.
