The cosplay event acosta! (cosplay event), which attracts more than 300,000 visitors annually at venues across Japan, is set to be held for the first time at the TFT Building in Ariake, Koto Ward, Tokyo on Saturday, July 18, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM (photography until 6:00 PM).
Event Highlights
This inaugural "acosta! @ TFT Building" edition takes advantage of the Ariake area's distinctive setting, combining an urban skyline with the open atmosphere of the waterfront. In addition to the TFT Building itself, the event will spread across two nearby parks — Mizu no Hiroba Park and Tokyo Rinkai Koiki Bousai Park — offering a wide range of photo backdrops including the sea, lush greenery, and expansive skies and lawns that feel removed from the city center.
Popular food trucks, familiar from the Ikebukuro acosta! events, will also be on-site so attendees can grab a bite between photo sessions.
