AEON Cinema Ayagawa in Kagawa Prefecture and AEON Cinema Rinku Sennan in Osaka Prefecture are getting full lobby-floor renovations, with both reopening on Friday, July 17, 2026.

The renewal brings a "space station" theme to Ayagawa and a "movie studio" theme to Rinku Sennan. Both lobbies are designed to make visitors forget the everyday world the moment they step inside. Alongside photo spots and lounge areas for both adults and children, the food and beverage counters and merchandise corners have also been expanded, creating theme-park-like entertainment spaces that are enjoyable to visit whether or not you're catching a film.
AEON Cinema Ayagawa: A "Space Station" That Welcomes Visitors Aboard a "Spaceship"
Concept: "The Only Entertainment Theater in Shikoku Worth a Special Trip"
The theater lobby has been reimagined as a "space station," with a backlit circular monument table evoking a spaceship or science fiction setting placed at the center of the floor. Combined with a sleek, futuristic corridor, the space creates an exciting cosmic atmosphere. At the entrance, a line of light guides visitors from the "space base" toward the "spaceship," giving guests the feeling of being crew members aboard the vessel as anticipation builds on the way to the screens.
A Relaxing Space With Digital Signage
The circular monument table, accented with blue and pink lines, offers visitors a relaxing spot to unwind. Signage above displays information such as showtimes, while a large signage panel on the wall provides a variety of content throughout the day.

AEON Cinema Rinku Sennan: Kids, Western, and Diner Zones
Concept: "A Movie Studio Where Everyone Is the Star"
Upon entering the lobby, visitors find themselves in a world resembling a film studio where anyone can feel like the lead role, transporting guests to a Hollywood-inspired setting.
The floor is divided into three zones: "Kids," furnished with vividly colored sofas and chairs; "Western," a rest area evoking a Wild West stage set; and "Diner," a food and drink pickup space. Together they form an exciting theme-park-style space for both adults and children to enjoy.
A Giant Clapperboard Photo Spot
A photo spot designed to resemble an oversized film reel and clapperboard has appeared on the wall at the center of the lobby. Visitors can strike a Hollywood-star pose and take memorable, social-media-ready photos at this stylish spot.
